We are all members of a family and come from some sort of family unit; be it traditional or nontraditional. I observe dysfunctional family patterns, imbalances, interactions, and patterns of communication. I am aware that one size does not fit all in clothing so why would that be the case in something as unique as therapy. My cues will be taken from you. The first step is normally the hardest. The beginning is also often easier for most people because the hard work has not begun yet. I understand it takes a lot to be vulnerable with a complete stranger. It takes a lot to open up those wounds that have been tucked away for so long in an effort to get from one day to the next; or get through the next moment. Hang in there! According to a Forbes.com article, only 6% of divorced couples remarry each other, while 40% of new marriages involve individuals who are remarrying. Creating a cohesive and harmonious family dynamic can be complex and requires patience, understanding, and effort. In a new marriage without children, two individuals work to become one unit. suicidal ideation & self harm
Many individuals experience suicidal thoughts at some point in their lives. For some, these thoughts may be fleeting and never lead to any actions. For others, these thoughts can be persistent and overwhelming, making it difficult to see a way out. It's important to recognize that having these thoughts does not mean you are alone or beyond help.
In our counseling sessions, I seek to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can openly discuss your feelings and experiences. I aim to help you understand the underlying issues contributing to these thoughts and to develop coping strategies that can provide relief and foster hope. We will focus on building resilience, enhancing emotional regulation, and finding ways to create a more positive and fulfilling life.

disordered eating
Disordered eating exists on a spectrum between what is considered “normal” eating and clinically diagnosed eating disorders. It encompasses a range of behaviors and symptoms that, while not necessarily severe or life-threatening, can still significantly impact your physical and emotional well-being.
These behaviors might include restrictive eating, compulsive eating, irregular eating patterns, or inflexible attitudes toward food. You may find yourself frequently preoccupied with thoughts about food, body image, and weight, which can lead to feelings of guilt, shame, or anxiety around eating yet do not meet full criteria for an eating disorder diagnosis.
In our counseling sessions, we seek to address these concerns by exploring the underlying emotional and psychological factors contributing to your disordered eating patterns. We will focus on developing a healthier relationship with food and your body, promoting balanced and mindful eating practices, and enhancing your overall self-esteem and body image.

AO SCAN TECHNOLOGY
As you can see this is not conventional talk therapy but could be used as an additional approach to our therapy sessions or be utilized as stand alone sessions minus the traditional approach to therapy. The AO Scan Technology is a web-based technology that is able to be utilized via my handheld device or computer/laptop/tablet. It identifies energetic imbalances in the body by comparing them to blueprint frequencies that have been identified as the optimal vibrations for every human. The device then generates balancing frequencies to help guide the body to homeostasis/ optimal health. A few of the options I utilize in therapy are as follows but is not limited to:
Inner-Voice: Through providing a 10-second recording of your voice (when you are not in person I request a minimum of 13-seconds in order to ensure I am able to capture a clean recording) this technology analyzes over 2,000 frequencies across 12 notes. It uses a sound harmonizing technique that utilizes our voice spectrum to diminish frequencies that are in excess and supplement frequencies that are lacking.
Generates a report with four Balancing Harmonic music files containing frequencies, tones, and binaural beats that are personalized for your emotional state at that moment in time. It is considered a snapshot in time.
The report and tones will be emailed to you (From AO Scan Inner-Voice) and you are to listen to your tones 2-3 times a day to assist in feeling more balanced and grounded when you need it most.
Subtle Energy Frequency Imprinter (SEFI): This technology is designed to capture, amplify, and imprint subtle energy frequencies, and can be broadcast anywhere in the world or imprinted into any element or item. I often use this SEFI technology in conjunction with Inner-Voice. When seeing and verifying with the client those out of balance areas or areas of concern I am able to customize playlist to be broadcast to the individual, group of individuals, or imprinted in an object of their choice or through SEFI dots which I am able to provide.
AO MindSync: One of the newest additions to the AO Scan Technology and as you can see in my Top 3 favorites of the many option areas available. MindSync is an affirmation programming tool that delivers affirmations of your own voice through a binaural process. Through this technology you can choose to read the provided affirmation script or record your own affirmations to be emailed to you to listen to when needed. Although I am sure you can find tools or online affirmations online; you will not find tools that provide this level of benefits. Examples of a few of the affirmation scripts provided via this technology: I AM Affirmations, Health Affirmations, Prosperity Affirmations, Memory Affirmations, Morning and Evening Affirmations, Self-Confidence, and more.
